Chandler Public Library is partnering with the Arizona State Library on the AZ Read 250 Challenge, encouraging residents of all ages to read 25 books of their choice. The challenge is available at all four Chandler Public Library locations.

Come check out what CUSD and Kyrene students have created in our 2026 Artists in Schools program! Four local artists were placed in four schools to collaborate on a special project. The resulting artwork expresses the new skills, creative methods, and thought processes the students learned with these teachers that enhanced their artistic development.

Quarteto Nuevo is on their Jazz Road Suite: Western States tour for the America 250 celebration, exploring the connection of jazz to geographical and cultural locations and includes a nine-movement work about each of these US states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming.

The US National Park system is a huge point of national pride and envied throughout the world. It’s history and development is an interesting story and its is enhanced by the work of two US presidents, from different eras and political parties, who happened to be cousins, who saw the potential treasure the that the Parks could offer. This program takes you through the history of the Parks beginning and highlights some of the outstanding contributions made by the cousins Roosevelt.
