Chef and Cultural Anthropologist Amber Sampson brings you on a journey of taste around Arizona's heritage food history. Sampson will talk about "Arizona's Ark of Taste," a living catalog of foods facing extinction, including the local, heritage, and native foods that are unique to Arizona's food history.

From Arizona's scorching Sonoran Desert to the frozen Arctic, some of Earth’s harshest environments demand extraordinary survival strategies. Former National Park ranger Steve Elnglehardt will explore how plants and animals in these vastly different regions have evolved in surprisingly similar ways to endure extreme heat, bitter cold, scarce water, and challenging conditions.

For 30 years, the Chandler Golf Challenge has brough together men and women from our community for a great day of golf that, in turn, improves educational and recreational opportunities for hundreds of people with disabilities. This year, step into the red, white, and blue theme to celebrate America's 250th birthday! Registration is required. Register here!

Ryan Reeves joins us to talk about the history of military aviation in Arizona during the 20th century. As part of the America 250 celebration, we'll focus on the important role that Arizona has played in establishing military airfields and bases to train future pilots. Arizona became a flying powerhouse during WWII, and has continued to grow into the global center for aviation it is today.
